Judy’s School of Dance is owned and operated by Judy Waymouth, professional choreographer and instructor.  Classes are offered in step dancing, clogging and ballroom.  Judy provides her students, who range in age from 4 years to close to 80 years old, the opportunity to enjoy great exercise, to learn and practice new dance steps, and to learn choreographed dances and routines.  As well, she teaches and coaches individuals and teams in preparations for competition.   
 

As enrollment at Judy’s School of Dance has continued to grow over the years it has become necessary for Judy to have other instructors on staff.  For many years now Judy has been running an apprenticeship program.  All of the staff at Judy’s School of Dance is internally trained and are all students who have danced under Judy’s direction for many years.  The apprenticeship program can last anywhere from one to two years.  Judy’s oldest son Kurtis has successfully completed this apprenticeship and is now teaching as a certified instructor. For the dance season 2006-07 Judy has four instructors and one apprentice on staff.
