News It has been an exciting dance season here at Judy’s School of Dance. In November 2007, we took one hundred and twenty-five people from our studio to Nashville, Tennessee to attend the 24th Annual National Clogging Convention. Seventy-five of our cloggers and thirty step dancers had the wonderful opportunity of performing at the Opryland Hotel to an enthusiastic audience. More recently, in April 2008, we took the same group of dancers to Grand Island, New York to attend the Nickel City Clogging Convention. Once again our dancers did a tremendous job and received a standing ovation and encore. It was truly a night to remember. From doing the above, exciting offers have been coming in for the future. Judy has been invited to teach at workshops in California, New York, Missouri and Tennessee for the upcoming dance season. Although plans are preliminary yet, Judy is also working on taking a team of dancers to New York City to participate in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for November 2009. We will keep you posted on all confirmations! In order to showcase off our large exhibitions that we performed in Nashville and New York we have moved our recital to a larger venue and changed the date. Our year end show will now be held on Friday, May 23, 2008 at Stratford Coliseum. The program will get underway at 6:45 pm. and all proceeds will be donated to the Stratford Agriplex Campaign.
